Our quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) departments help ensure the compliance of all new fabrication and repair work to the appropriate code requirements, industry standards, client specifications, and internal company procedures.
Our QA/QC staff are an integral part of the production process but also retain independent authority to help ensure compliance. Thanks to their diligence, we are prepared to meet stringent regulations laid out by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and National Board Inspection Code (NBIC), among others. When needed, we are also prepared to bring in third-party collaborators for additional oversight.
Our QA/QC Processes
Redman utilizes the following processes, either through our own internal quality departments or through trusted third-party inspection services, for new/repair fabrication:

- Internal rotary inspection system (IRIS) testing
- Helium leak tests
- Hydro testing
- Vacuum testing
- Phased array ultrasonic (PA)
- Positive material identification (PMI)
- Magnetic particle examination (MT)
- Liquid penetrant tests (PT)

- Visual (VT)
